WHAT IS PAINTBALL?

Have a blast at our Paintball Complex! Choose your intensity level from GellyBall (age 5+), Low Impact (age 9+), or Traditional (age 13+). GellyBall uses a water orb instead of a paintball and is a great introduction to paintball style play for the very young crowd. Low Impact looks just like our traditional paintball. Our specialized guns that are lightweight and easier to hold and shoot combined with a smaller tank to reduce the physical weight. We have tuned down the velocity to reduce the impact of a paintball hit by over 60-90%. This is an exciting, fun-packed experience for younger, first-time players and anyone who might be apprehensive about paintball. You can also use a more traditional (yet technologically modern) .68 caliber paintball marker if you choose to play traditional paintball.

BRING A GROUP TO PLAY OR COME ALONE

Planning an exciting paintball event for a group of players or just want to come out and play paintball by yourself - we offer a variety of options.

Walk-ons are welcome! Stop on by and play paintball without a reservation. You will be added to a group of other walk-on players. While a reservation is not required, due to the popularity of paintball, we recommend booking your rental equipment in advance to guarantee availability.

Bayou Games Paintball Complex offers open play rates for paintball players, 10 years old & up, with their own equipment or paintball rental packages including all equipment needed to play, just choose how many paintballs you want to shoot.

OUR POLICY TERMS

Due to high demand, we have certain terms. See the fine print below. 

 

  • Parties can be extended in 30-minute increments for $50.
  • Additional Equipment on Scheduled Parties with more than 10 players for Laser Tag or GellyBall gear is $15/ea. GellyBall Orbs NOT included.
  • Additional Equipment on Scheduled Parties with more than 10 players for Low Impact or Traditional Paintball gear is $20/ea. Paintballs NOT included.
  • We require a $100 deposit to reserve your equipment and party time for private groups.
  • Private events can be booked for any day/time based on availability.
  • Mobile setups are smaller than at our location and are subject to travel charges & minimum party durations based on distance traveled.
  • All renters must have a valid picture I.D. and accept full responsibility for the care of the equipment while it is in their possession. 
  • Renter will be responsible for the replacement at full retail value of any equipment rented, not returned and or damaged.
  • In the unlikely event that you need to cancel or reschedule, the deposit will be transferred to the rescheduled event or to a gift certificate that may be used at any time. All participants must complete a waiver. 
  • If under the age of 18, child must have a waiver form signed by their parent or legal guardian. 
  • Waivers are good for one year and cover all Bayou Games events.

 

COMMON PAINTBALL QUESTIONS

  • CAN ANYONE PLAY?

    Ages are always a guideline, not an absolute. You know yourself &/or your child better than we do.  We can only speak to averages. That said, keep in mind your whole group playing and their skill level.

    Age 5-8 for Gelly Ball

    Age 9-12 for Low Impact Intermediate Paintball (Air powered @ 220fps)

    Age 13+ for Traditional Paintball (Air powered @ 260-280fps)

  • CAN I JUST SHOW UP TO PLAY (INDIVIDUAL PRICING)?

    Yes – Arrive during our open play hours (Sat 10-6 & Sun 11-6). We cannot guarantee any other players attendance. To inquire, text us @337-214-5001 or send a FB message with a headcount and approximate arrival time to ensure a faster check-in process. Choose from rental packages above, or you can use your own equipment (inspection required).  If you have your own, you pay a $15 Field Fee which includes unlimited HPA air refills and purchase paint.  We are a FIELD PAINT only facility.  For safety & quality reasons, you are NOT allowed to bring outside paint

  • DOES IT HURT?

    Gelly Ball is traveling at 40% the speed of traditional paintball and with a smaller ball. Because it is traveling so slow, it often does not break if it hits a soft surface.  Low Impact Intermediate Paintball uses the same projectile, but at 80% the speed of traditional paintball.  Even still with this speed reduction, the impact is half the feeling of a traditional paintball. Low Impact Intermediate Paintball is the recommended level for first time players & groups of various skill-levels. Traditional paintball can bruise when being hit at close range or in a non-padded location.  The good news is, it all heals.  Your Eyes are the thing to protect and we provide everyone with a mask.

  • HOW MUCH IS A PAINTBALL PARTY OR GROUP PRICING?

    For all levels of paintball, equipment for 10 players is $295 for 90 mins of play time on various playing fields, followed by 30 minutes of party time in your designated party section.  This includes equipment for 10 players and 200 rounds each.  Additional players are $20 each for the same equipment.

  • DO YOU OFFER MOBILE PAINTBALL?

    Due to the safety risks of being at an unknown location and the volume of equipment involved, mobile paintball is not recommended. Events will only be scheduled in instances where we feel it is a safe environment. Eye protection is critical. Spectators are not allowed without masks. The location of event must be at least half of a football field sized space and away from businesses, roadways homes, etc. Gelly Ball is easier to accommodate for a mobile event; however, spectator and eye protection rules still apply. We offer Do-It-Yourself equipment rental options for the higher 2 levels
